Beautiful world, beautiful life, beautiful creations - French Watterfall Braids

 via Instagram http://ift.tt/2qmV5Po

My beautiful niece found this beautiful hairstyle on Pinterest from Goudhaartje. And we did it.

Prepare you hair :
Brush through your hair to get all the tangles out and make it soft, smooth and ready to braid. If you want, you can place small amount of liquid crystal, or some hair oil, which you are using for your hair. This can help you to braid your hair much easier.

To create this hairstyle, you will need :
  • Wide-tooth comb
  • Hair clip
  • Elastic (one, colored or not)
  • Flexible hold hairspray

How to do :
We braid two side french braids. From the first one, we were getting out strands from the braid and only from one side (so supposed to look like you are braiding french watterfall braid) than with the second one, you are placing those strands inside the braids. And this is how is supposed to look like.

Thailand Phuket - Busy Vacation #3 French Braids & BoxBraids

Well, that was long vacation, at least for me, I was not used to have so much time for my self. But I managed to fill it up, all my time there. And you all ready know that braiding is my hobby, so I make sure to include in my everyday living. It was same here too.
This is Tanya, my stewardess ( in the middle). She was really nice during all my stay there. When she saw what I did with my hair, she was really touched. Than I decide, before I go from Thailand, to do her hair, and make her happy, small attention, to see that I was appreciate her hard work.

For her hairstyle, she let me to decide what to do. And here we have, front of the head Mini Cornrow Braids, and the other half (or the back of the head) we have Box Braids (which are done only with her own hair and nothing else) which are mix (some of them are braids, with three hair strands, and some of them with two hair strands -twist).

Thailand Phuket - Busy Vacation #2 French Braids & Twists

This is my new friend from Hong Kong, her name is Mavis and I miss her so much. On this picture we are in Phuket Thailand, in Fern House. And that is the place where we both were staying, and where we meet each other.

When she saw my braided hairstyle, she loved it. So I offer her to do her hair as well, and she accepted. One day we decided to stay by the pool, have a coffee, nice chat, and hair done :)

She told me what she would like to have, and I decide to do this hairstyle: French Braids, in a Cornrow way, all finishing up in the middle of the head, so they end up in a ponytail, than the rest of the hair in that ponytail, I decide to do twist braids, same as mine, and it ended up beautiful. Do you agree ? :)

And here are, you can look closer :D So, that's me, Tanya (in the middle, btw she was our stewardess) and Mavis from Hong Kong.

Five Strand Dutch Braids

Well, believe it or not, for me this was my first time to do 5 strand Braid, and I can say that it looks really complicate, and actually it isn't, all you have to do is, start, follow the instruction, and taadaa, done. Ok, I have to admit, i needed little bit help (my nieces free will :D, or you can use some clips carefully). Now, note this, if regular braiding hair is something complicated for you, this will be too. But, if you want,I know will.

Step by step, how to?

Expand your braid repertoire by learning how to do a Dutch Braid, with 5 strands of hair. Usually, Dutch braids use 3 strands of hair, as does a traditional braid. Dutch Braids look like a French braid turned inside out, because the hair is weaved under the center strand, instead of over it.
For best results, wash and comb the hair before braiding it to get rid of any tangles. It is also easier to braid damp or wet hair, than dry hair.

Comb the hair back over the scalp. Grab a 3-inch/7cm wide section of hair in one hand, and divide it into 5 equally sized strands. Hold 2 of the sections in your left hand and 3 of the sections in your right hand.
Bring the strand of hair on the far-right side inder both the strand of hair just to the left of it and under the middle strand of hair. The far-right strand should now be in the center.
Bring the far-left strand of hair under the strand just to the right of it and under the center strand. The far-left strand of hair will now be in the center.
Grab some more hair from the right side of the head, and add it to the strand that is now on the far right. Bring that strand under the right strand just to the left of it and then under the center strand.
Add more hair from the left side of your hear to the strand on the far left, then move that strand under the strand to the right of it and under the middle strand.

Continue to add more hair to the strands as you work your way down the scaip, bringing the strands on the far right and left under the 2 strands to the side of them.
When you have about 2inches/5cm of hair left, secure the braid with a hair elastic. You can secure the braid earlier if the strands are getting so short that it is difficult to braid them. Mist the hair with flexible hold hairspray, and you are ready. :)

Begin by parting the hair on the right side. Brush through the hair to remove any tangles. Divide off a front section of hair by creating a vertical part from the original part down to the left ear. Clip off the back section to keep it out of the way. Pick up a small section of hair on the left side of the part for the braid. Divide this section into three equal pieces. Cross the back strand over the middle. Then cross the front strand over the middle. Cross the back strand over the middle and bring in a section of hair incorporating it into the braid. One half of the heart, bring small section hair only from one side, and the other half  of the heart, bring small section of hair from other side, as you can see on those pictures. Finish this braiding in a shape of half circle, like you already separated the hair. Tied off the end with an elastic band. Mist the style with a flexible hold hairspray and you are ready.

<3   Triple Heart French Braids   <3

Well, Valentine's Day coming, so I was inspired of love, and I wanted to help you all out there, who want to celebrate love, to create a beautiful hairstyle, in a heart shape, so you can fit in with the rest of your preparation for the big day, for all in love... and everybody else... Let's started :

Prepare you hair :

Brush through your hair to get all the tangles out and make it soft, smooth and ready to braid. If you want, you can place small amount of liquid crystal, or some hair oil, which you are using for your hair. This can help you to braid your hair much easier.

To create this hairstyle, you will need :
  • Wide-tooth comb
  • Rattail comb
  • Hair clip
  • Ponytail holders
  • Elastic (few colored or not)
  • Flexible hold hairspray

This is our model, she has long , straight hair with hair lights.

I decide it to do this heart, on the left side of the head. you can make it bigger or smaller, it's really  just your wish, it is beautiful any way :)

And here I have finished all three french braids in a shape of a heart. One after each other. In the end of each braid tied up with elastic.

And now this how it looks. With the rest of the hair you can do what ever you want, you will not make mistake.

Short tutorial :
Begin by parting the hair on the right side. Brush through the hair to remove any tangles. Divide off a front section of hair by creating a vertical part from the original part down to the left ear. Clip off the back section to keep it out of the way. Pick up a small section of hair on the left side of the part for the braid. Divide this section into three equal pieces. Cross the back strand over the middle. Then cross the front strand over the middle. Cross the back strand over the middle and bring in a section of hair incorporating it into the braid. Now cross the front strand and bring in another section. Finish this braiding in a shape of half circle, like you already separated the hair. Tied off the end with an elastic band. Mist the style with a flexible hold hairspray and you are ready.
